Volunteer Cast and Entertainers

Join the best trained interactive cast in Louisiana, its Fun and Educational. Being on cast of the Louisiana Renaissance festival is a rewarding experience, and is a great place to learn and enhance performance skills.

Be a part of our volunteer cast and join the real fun at the Louisiana Renaissance festival. Our training classes will teach you how to create a renaissance character and interact with other characters in a fun setting. Gain experience with a live audience and have fun while you do it. The Louisiana Renaissance Festival is offering workshops for all new entertainers. The workshops are an excellent opportunity for character development and mentoring.

Below are some of the advantages of participating in the Louisiana Renaissance Festival:
• The workshops help with character development, presentation, speech, acting and interactive skills.
• The workshop also teaches how to handle impromptu situations, costuming, and a little bit of history both real life and legend.
• Learn techniques to introduce yourself to strangers in an interactive theatrical environment.
• Learn more interesting and fun ways to interact with people.
• Become more confident through the training we provide.
• On Site CAMPING - for participants only. Non-electric tent camping is available for our volunteer cast for free, and electric camping is available at a greatly reduced price. For details on camping please check with the Cast Director during workshops. 

There will be several classes available this summer. The summer classes will be slower paced than the fall classes. Some of the necessary summer classes will be repeated in the fall, some will be optional enhancements and not offered in the fall. There will also be several workshops for those not familiar with renaissance festivals or have never participated in one.
